The Piece

Crafted in two seasonal windows each year — not driven by trends, but by the moments when making feels spacious, grounded, and alive.

About This Vest

This vest is made to order, individually handcrafted from full grain, natural hair-on-hide goat leather — incredibly soft, and only softening further with wear. Because it's a natural fibre, it breathes in a way synthetics simply cannot, keeping you comfortable across a surprising range of conditions.

The design is intentionally adjustable — hand-laced shoulder and side seams that can be widened or tightened to suit your body, with front braided ties that can be knotted, bowed, or left to hang as a feature. One size fits most.

No two vests will ever be exactly the same. Natural colour variation in each pelt means every piece is genuinely one of a kind.

The Craft

Sourced from a ethical & sustainable focused Australian company, every element of this vest is hand cut, hand punched, and hand laced. Seventy individual grommets are set by hand. Around twenty metres of lacing finishes the neck and armhole edges, threaded in a way that creates a more intricate edge. Metal beads and handcrafted tassels secure each lacing end so you can adjust sizing without re-threading.

This is not fast work. It is the kind of making that takes hours — and shows.

The Story Behind the Hide

The goat is one of the world’s most playful, resilient, unpredictable, reliable, dreamy, wild and free animals, not easily contained.

These skins are sourced through an ethical and sustainable focused Australian who work with the world's leading tanneries that share our ethical values.

Slow Fashion, by Design

This is not about buying for a season. It's about investing for a reason.

When you choose a piece like this, you are choosing craft over convenience, intention over impulse, and something you will genuinely treasure for years to come.
